Reid & Wise Wins Federal-Court Trial
Thursday, August 24th, 2017, 3:46 pmAfter a hard-fought, three-year court case, Reid & Wise prevailed in a trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and helped the client retain her ownership interest in a property valued at more than $5 million.
The case involved a dispute over the ownership of property. The plaintiff claimed that Reid & Wise’s client was not the true owner of the property and brought this lawsuit against the client to try to deprive the client's ownership interest in this property. After a 3-day trial, the Court read its decision into the record, rejecting all of the plaintiffs’ claims and ruling in favor of our client. The Reid & Wise trial team consisted of Matthew Sava and Han Liang.
